These terms apply to prjlab.com and the PrjLab CLI (together, “PrjLab”). By creating an account you agree to them. PrjLab is in early access: it is offered free of charge, as is, and it changes often.
You need to be at least 16 years old. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your handle. One person, one account. Handles are permanent while the account exists and are released when it is deleted.
You keep every right to what you push. You grant PrjLab only the permission needed to store it, show it to you and to the people you allow, and to serve clones. For a public repository you additionally allow anyone to view and clone it, and search engines to index its overview. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for not publishing other people’s private data or secrets. Making a repository public publishes all of its versions, including project memory and saved sessions.
Do not use PrjLab to store or distribute malware, stolen credentials, content that is illegal where you or we are located, or content that infringes others’ rights; do not probe, overload or circumvent the service’s security or limits; do not scrape other people’s repositories at scale. Security research is welcome when it is reported responsibly to info@prjlab.com rather than exploited.
Anyone can tell us about content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms through /report or by email; every notice gets a reference number and is reviewed by a person without undue delay. If an administrator acts on your account or content, the measure is proportionate to the problem and can be one of: making a public repository private, deleting a repository, clearing your display name and bio, or suspending your account (which blocks the website and the CLI and hides your repositories and profile until it is lifted). You are then told in the product what was decided, when, why, whether it followed a notice or our own review, and how to contest it. Decisions are taken by people, not by automated systems. To contest a decision, write to info@prjlab.com with your handle; we review it again and answer within 30 days. You can also go to court or, in the EU, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. Repeated or serious violations, including repeated copyright infringement, lead to suspension. We report content that suggests a threat to someone's life or safety to the competent authorities.
Early-access limits per repository are documented in the docs and may change. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
PrjLab runs on a single server with nightly backups; it is not a high-availability service and may be unavailable during maintenance or failures. Keep your own copies: prj clone gives you a full local copy of any repository you can read. If PrjLab is discontinued, you will get at least 30 days’ notice to export your data.
PrjLab is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data you did not keep a copy of. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for wilful misconduct.
How data is handled is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s country of residence, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. Material changes to these terms are announced on the blog and dated at the top of this page at least 30 days before they take effect; you can delete your account before then if you do not accept them.
